In the heart of the brick kiln communities, a quiet form of modern-day slavery continues to steal the futures of countless families. Many of these families are trapped in a brutal cycle of generational debt—small loans taken out years ago for food, medical emergencies, or basic survival. These debts, often manipulated and unfairly increased by brick kiln owners, become impossible to repay. As a result, entire families—including children—are forced to work long hours in inhumane conditions, with no freedom, no education, and no way out. They live with heavy hearts, knowing that no matter how hard they work, they remain bound to the same hopeless situation.
Glory to Jesus Ministry has been called by God to shine a light into this darkness. Through our Freedom from Slavery Project, we are identifying and redeeming families who are living under the weight of these debts. With the help of donors and faithful partners, we negotiate and pay off their loans—legally freeing them from bondage and helping them start a new chapter of life. But our support doesn’t stop there. We walk with these families, helping them rebuild their lives with dignity by offering food assistance, education for their children, spiritual care, and opportunities for sustainable income.
